The Future Public Transport Myth

I must say public transport could be much cooler! Where is the future they’ve promised us? We are already five years time the 21st century and nothing really new is to be seen or expected: still we ride in buses, cars, old trains and tube systems to work. Only China has built the first maglev train system with the help of German engineers.

They were so optimistic in the ’50s with space stations, a colony on the moon, etc. We’re not even sure how to get to the moon now.

@brad: I guess China will do that for you? I recently watched a Disney (propaganda) movie abou the atom and how nuclear energy will solve any problem of humanity … oh boy …
