I was strictly raised not to fart, well at least not in company.
Years ago, I had a new boyfriend, but had been eating a lot of
pea and ham soup, as I had recently made quite a large batch, which was pretty good.
Wanting to impress and given my upbringing i refrained from farting, so much so ,that I got some severe cramps and ended up going to hospital, where the doctors got together and concluded that I had appendicitis.
Luckily, prior to them confirming that they would remove my appendics, I finally had to fart, which was quite painful to begin with, and more shortly followed. A lesson learned.
