Since the populations turns grey in many industrial nations (and China) we will have an overwhelming load of geriatrics in our societies. Old people tend to vote and act more conservative. Are we looking at a new age of conservatism as well?

Or maybe this grey generation will be different, since they grew up as hippies and new individuals?

How will they influence society, since this older generation also is more political active then their offsprings? Are we facing more widsom or anger in politics and society for the passive failure that we call youth today?
