Never had the problem. I went to schools taught by monks. Augustinian Monks. While I was forever proccupied with thoughts of sex they had nothing to do with my day dreams nor did the school it was an all male school. I just stayed horny all the time.

@RichM: I dunno if I should congratulate or pity you. Some people say only-boys-schools are better for kids - but I never felt distracted by chicks in my school years. And we had dumb boys and girls, so it was not just one gender holding the class back.

I don’t know if they are better or not. Not having gone to a co-ed school I don’t know what the outcome would have been or if I would have been even more distracted than I already was.

As far as the education I received, I feel good about it and on the balance I would say the experience was rewarding. I’m sure because of the smaller class sizes and the demand for discipline I got more out of the school in terms of education than I would otherwise have gotten. Even if I could go back and change things I do not think I would. No need for pity.

@RichMc: I totally agree with you. Education is more a question of dedications and ‘getting through’ to the kids. I guess today’s school system simply doesn’t engage kids like the good old days …
