The most successful life form on this planet - Bacteria

science_Bacteria_most_successful_lifeform

Bacteria are everywhere. They can live in the hottest and coldest of places (even on asteroids in outer space). No other life form on this planet has multiplied as much and conquered so many different places.

Bacteria also have made all other species their hosts - and we all depends on them.

I have often wondered how anyone who knows about the existence and behavior of bacteria could not believe in evolution. But I do know people who will accept all that modern medicine has to offer, but who nevertheless cling to the belief that everything was created in six 24 hour days. Very strange.

@Judi: Let’s NOT discuss Intelligent Design here - because there is nothing to discuss. Bacteria and the flu virus are the best examples of evolution. You can almost watch these little buggers adapt and evolve - for example against Penicilin.
