Max Planck is one of the godfathers of modern physics - like Einstein. Together with Niels Bohr he worked on the breathtaking quantum theory. I am still trying to wrap my head around it’s implications.

Over all, he protected Einstein the most of time in Berlins Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institute - and he was the one, who brought Einstein to Berlin! ans so Einstein had the possibility to find the Allgemeine Relativitätstheorie`.
