Down the Hole

modern_Alice_down_the_rabbit_hole

We all have to jump into dark holes and make a transit into a new and foreign world in our lifes. New places, people and social platforms might feel alien or even mad to us - but part of the human experience is to learn new ‘games’, socialize and comply to group consensus.

But no matter were you travel to and whatever games you have to comply to - you should keep your inner world and not let other people’s madness infect you.

Sage advice from my favourite, or make that my only guru. Not that you’re really a guru, but still. ;-)

My inner world is intact once more (and growing ever richer once more) since I spend very little time on the internet these days. If I remember correctly that was more sage advice from you… Get out into the world!

“You should keep your inner world and not let other people’s madness infect you.”
Is that an original orange-sentence ? I like that as well!

With a little limitation: (but this is valid for maybe all kind of declarations… ´love, is only a word`) You have to understand it in the right manner! …and for me; it is easy to understand it in the right manner! ;-)

@aperfectstranger: Orginal Orange - but no big deal. But I had my faire share of madness myself … ;-)

You cannot keep your inner world without jumping, wildly and madly in dark holes.

The dark holes make one appreciate our inner peace, our self value, our true friends.

@Luci: Nah, you are a big fan of dualistic thinking? If there is Black - there needs to be white? ;-)

Too true Luci, once a very dark hole nearly swallowed me up last yr, but hell, i was rescued by my very true friends and made me realise that one dark hole i nearly stepped into was indeed very dark, very sinister - but true friends stuck by me and made sure that jumping madly - willdy - and finding new and brighter things in life made my world so much better without that dark hole!

And yes Orange Guru, get out into the world, sage advice and good advice indeed. Thanks my friend…

Oops, wildly…..my spelling…..LOL

Luci

Dualistic thinking is necessary for survival, imho, Orangeguru ;) I do believe most humans are more or less dualistic thinkers. We continually move in and out of it.

Life is full of opposites, or at least this is how people mechanically think about it, although we might wonder is this right or wrong?

The only way in which humans are all the same is that we are all unique in how we choose to decorate our inner state of being and what with.

@Lu: Hmmm, I don’t think dualistic thinking is any good - I rather would point out it’s a mental and conceptual trap / system that is limiting to ourselves.

I guess I have to write a long rant about that … ;-)

Shelly: My pleasure - good to hear that you are out of your hole. ;-)
