Bodyart - an old human tradition - is now fashionable again. People pimp all parts of their bodies with tattoos, piercing’s and other stuff that makes any plain vanilla person shiver.
While pimping of machines is acceptable to all, bodyart still is considered freakish by most people.
it always depends, of course, on your own point of view.
“fashionable” doesn’t include “art”. not in my opinon. it’s just another fashion, like a ggl-bag or blahniks - and has nothing to do with creativity. it’s just a “following the herd”.
i’ve seen to many buttantlers, arschgeweihe, (jaja, babelfish) and cindy-crawford-look-a-like-piercings.
but of course you are right - everything not average seems to be dangerous for the majority.
