Interesting insight into the Arab point of view on the DNC, Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
45 Minutes
(the first five minutes are just applause and ass kissing)
It has momentum, it has spirit and it has character. Great speech for the troops and the media. Let’s see if the Americans are willing to elect this guy and change their great nation.
Let the muddy fight begin!

Especially in our modern mass media world and after the 2008 Beijing Propaganda Olympics it’s scary how little TV has changed - or that the Nazis already had figured out the basics of TV brainwashing.
Scary.
This is only an excerpt from a very interesting lecture.
Excellent Video about Twitter and how it works. Very well done and easy to understand for even twentysomethings or my clients …
Don’t miss the other brilliant videos from commoncraft as well.

Contrary to all zoological rumors: there is no such thing as a bat-elephant. But there is such a thing called "desperate marketing for crappy tv-shows".
I love this video - it’s so “casual” how it mixes reality with fantasy …
See it in action and get excited.

It’s dirt cheap and a great toy. Me want badly - even though I can’t play an instrument. But I think it’s a great toy to get into music.

Unless you are 12 years old, female and own a pair of very rich parents - you shouldn’t own such a piece of crap. A €190 for a 4 Gbyte USB stick is not only overpriced, but will make your "precious data" even more interesting for any thief.

Once you get a tattoo you are stuck with it for life - and the matching wallpaper.
That’s why I never got needled.

It is no surprise that most religions are centered around death - overcoming death and "preserving" lost ones by declaring them eternal souls or spirits.
We love to fool ourselves "beyond" death. Even in the age of modern science and medicine we try to prolong the line, no matter the cost and even pain to old and dying people.
Death is the ultimate barrier. And we should culturally, spiritually and medically face it with more dignity, wisdom and openness.
We all will die - and we shouldn’t be ignored and discarded by society nor by ourselves.

It’s ironic: China is the country with the most people - but still many seats at the events stay empty? The organizers said that all events are sold out!
Why?
Either those with tickets can’t get in for security reasons or many tickets given to sponsors are not being used.
But those nifty Chinese communists have a solution! They have special volunteer squads who are filling the empty cheats and cheering their guts out. Looks good on global television!

Did you watch the Olympics while Georgia was burning?
Georgia’s Primeminister Saakaschwili made a huge mistake by provoking the Russians by trying to get back the rebel provinces.
Anyone following Putin’s dirty politics in Chechnya should know better.
The whole affair is a disaster for all sides:
Georgia is no a damaged and destabilized country. I am pretty sure that the US and EU got the Russian message: no NATO membership for Georgia.
Russia has now another war at it’s hand and confirmed it’s reputation not to be trusted. It’s just as imperialistic as the US - although for other reasons.

It’s always good to have some old people handy for mine sweeping.
The EU has also confirmed it’s reputation - for being a toothless club of rich people. The EU is extremely dependent on Russia’s gas and oil supply. If Putin would cut supply most of Europe would face a very cold winter - just Ukraine did several years ago.
The US also could only watch as Georgia went up in flames - and sent some help afterwards. The US has hardly any influence over Russia. Any moral or political high ground is lost since the invasion of Iraq. Putin’s Russia is currently only repeating the policy George W. Bush has implemented years ago: regime change in a country they dislike.

At least I will have gas to heat my flat in winter …
And let’s not forget the huge oil pipeline that is running through Georgia which is highly important for all parties.
It all once again shows that national interests are still brutally pushed through.
Nobody really cares about the "global village".
China will support Darfur as long as they get something from it. The US will stay in Iraq as long as they get something from it. And Russia will invade small countries as long as the get something from it.
Peace? Nah …

The good old days of war, when we didn’t have smart bombs - but we were able to bomb our enemies back to the stone age by any conventional means necessary!

Once again: Mother Nature’s colors are amazing. This frog (at least I think it’s a frog) is radiating in a mad orange tone. Brilliant.
Does anyone know the species and why it’s so bloody orange? I guess it must be poisonous - otherwise it wouldn’t give up it’s camouflage?

Even the cutest dog may be held responsible for his actions in public.

Technology needs not to be orderly or well organized. It just needs to work somehow.
TPMtv once again nails the craziness of the presidential election. I love this collection of senior moments. And he is 71 and he won’t get any better.
Ouch.

Oh Darling, the keyhole to your kingdom is big enough to make my head explode. Please unlock yourself to end this one sided affair …

Remember your childhood when you spent your vacation with your grandparents on the countryside?
You didn’t need any batteries or recharger to keep you happy and all your gizmos running. There was no constant checking for text messages or important emails. No tv series on the telly to miss or record. No social network to keep informed and presented with new tweets or images from your vacation. No digital camera or notebook to crash. No bad food in the local Starbucks or McDonalds - just yummy stuff from a local sandwich store. No global warming to worry about or carbon trading for your trip to summer …
Those were the good times.
