The second largest population gets to vote soon (BBC Special here). 714 Million Citizens are going to vote – electing 542 Politicians from 1,055 Parties (Indian Election in Numbers). Wow!
Since India is a Major Global Player it’s a shame that Western Media reports so little about this (compared to the global coverage of the American election).
