@Stephen Galbincea: My apologies to you too - I am a bit late ...

I still think that the Killer matched the profile of a right wing terrorist. He might have been a bit unusual in some aspects, but he still killed for all the wrong reasons preached by the right.

And all people who inflict terror are insane in one way or another - the questions should be: what drove them crazy and encouraged them to act?

On bashing: Sure, I don't know all of America, but I am certainly not bashing all Christians and all Conservatives.

I bash those who consider themselves "true Americans", bring their guns to church, hate gays and defend the death sentence - although Jesus tells them to be tolerant and forgiving.

I agree with you: a true Christian would never kill or support killings.

I also agree with you that abortion is a terrible thing, but women should have the choice. In an ideal world we would have only babies born out of love, healthy, with caring, capable and financially sound parents ...

It might surprise you, that I also think that conservatism has it's place in society - but there is a difference between conservatism and fundamentalism.

"With the government takeover of the U.S. car companies, banks, and soon health care system we are becoming slowly what we used to not want to become – a socialist country."

The takeovers were necessary, because capitalism and a so called conservative government failed - so the losses have to be paid for by the citizens. That's corporate wellfare to save jobs - not socialism.

You should also not confuse "being social" with socialism. Britain, Germany and France have national health services - are they socialist countries? I don't think so.

Get over the old ideological wars: communism is dead and so it capitalism. All countries operate on a mixture of markets, individualism and socialism. In any state the freedom of the individual is limited and some power is transferred to the state and the "people" based on the rule of law.

I welcome anyone to America that is coming here to work hard and make a better life for themselves and our Country – as long as they follow the rules like everyone else here has done in the past. It is harder to become a U.S. citizen today than it was in the past – that is a GOOD thing.

Then you are an exception.
Probably not, but again – do it the right way and follow the law and you can become a U.S. citizen in less than 5 years.

I thought liberalism and the left were all about tolerance.

Yeah, but it doesn't mean you can't call bullshit bullshit. And some ideas have to be fought ...

All the talk about tolerance - I think it's wrong.

It's not about tolerating each other, but how you deal with conflicts and differences. Do you shot people or do you create a society that allows all sides to follow their choices with equal rights (as long as they don't endanger others)?

I don't mind "conflict" within society - it's all too human - that is why we "modern" methods of creating secular societies to deal with all sides in a hopefully neutral way.

@Jason: Sorry for the late reply. I was a bit depressed the recent weeks from the shitty weather.

I do agree that this Killer was a bit more complex then the usual right-winger, but nevertheless the terror from the right issue still prevails.

I don't really see this guy as an Anarchist, because he was certainly too nationalistic and anti-Semitic.

The guy at the top of your post does not represent: conservatives, Christianity, or even your average white American. He had some serious mental issues and was clearly crazy.

You bash on conservatism, you bash on Christianity, you bash on "middle-america" - yet you don't really seem to know how we really are since all you have to go on is what is reported in the news and on TV. I encourage you to travel to my hometown and let me show you around to introduce you to the people that the media fails to report on.

A person who follows the ways of Jesus would never murder, they would simply protest by any means lawful. A person who follows Jesus would not condone the death penalty - time of death is decided by God alone, not man. Abortion IS evil, anyone who defends the killing of a child in the womb of their mother does not fully understand what is taking place - or if they do they too are in my mind acting evil. For more information I encourage you to watch this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjNo_0cW-ek

This is not a video done by Christians, nor is it biased in a way that I think anyone could find objectionable. It was done by a former abortionist to explain fully in detail what the process involves and why it is wrong. Please, please, please take a few minutes and watch it - you will be moved.

A conservative believes in liberties, the rights of the people, and generally less government involvement in our free society. With the government takeover of the U.S. car companies, banks, and soon health care system we are becoming slowly what we used to not want to become - a socialist country. A country based upon the socialist ideals of Marx and others does not value individual freedoms or reward individual success - it is all for the common "good." While there are some things that I find attractive about this as it conforms to my beliefs that we should all help our brothers and sisters, I feel that it will also stifle our already waning economy as it provides no real incentive for worker excellence.

With regards to your comments about people being threatened by Muslims and other religions as well as people of different races coming to America I think you are way off base. I welcome anyone to America that is coming here to work hard and make a better life for themselves and our Country - as long as they follow the rules like everyone else here has done in the past. It is harder to become a U.S. citizen today than it was in the past - that is a GOOD thing. Lots of people want in, more than we can handle if we just open the door, so we need to be selective about the process. Could the process be improved? Sure it could, as with any government program there are always ways to improve and streamline it. But, if you decide to take it upon yourself to circumvent our laws, disrespect my country by breaking the laws - then in my opinion you need to go home and do it the right way. Mexico, for example, is not a horrible place, the government is not killing all the citizens, and generally you can have a decent life there. Is it as good as the U.S.? Probably not, but again - do it the right way and follow the law and you can become a U.S. citizen in less than 5 years.

Bottom line, I think you generalize people too much. I think you classify conservative Christians as idiots who need to get with the 21st century. I thought liberalism and the left were all about tolerance. I am supposed to tolerate the murder of children, the behavior of the LBGT movement, the anti-Christian movement of atheism, etc - and I do, I simply voice my views in contrast to theirs. However, there is not really tolerance among those groups for us - we need to be eliminated, we need to have our children saved from us, we need to be bashed on so we can see the supposed "folly" of our ways. Tolerance is a two way street, but unfortunately the other side seems to forget that.

We are all children of God, made in His image - whether you like it or not that is the truth and no amount of denial will change that. Abortion is murder. The guy that killed the doctor was crazy - there is no excuse for that. You ask where fair and balanced is, well I'll tell you when it will happen: when the liberal left gets their way on everything, when religion is no more, and when all of society is based upon the moral relativism of "if it feels good, do it".....you'll see that according to the media fair and balanced will have been achieved.

You'll also see that what the Bible said was true.

The nut job you want to classify as a right-wing extremist more accurately classified as an anarchist. Right vs. left is too simplistic.

@Jason: Just because he also hated the right-wing doesn't mean he doesn't belong to the same ideological corner.

James von Brunn in his own words:

About his own attempt to kill people of the Federal Reserve Board in his own words:

In 1981 Von Brunn attempted to place the treasonous Federal Reserve Board of Governors under legal, non-violent, citizens arrest. He was tried in a Washington, D.C. Superior Court; convicted by a Negro jury, Jew/Negro attorneys, and sentenced to prison for eleven years by a Jew judge. A Jew/Negro/White Court of Appeals denied his appeal.

From: "James W. von Brunn" Subject: FW: Henrik Holappa arrested Date: Tue, 10 Mar 2009 10:15:08 -0400

Millions of low IQ non-whites are encouraged to illegally invade the USA . They are provided sanctuary, jobs, health-care schooling, by those intent upon destroying Western Civilization. Whereas, the subject of this email, Henrik Holappa, the Finn, who has committed no illegal acts, is arrested and incarcerated illegally by American agents in Marxist employ.

The Henrik Holappa atrocity is a metaphor for the ILLUMINATI conquest of America: The ILLUMINATI, has captured America illegally, and is incarcerating her NOW into a Global Zionist state.

Well informed patriots are ignoring the URGENCY, the extreme DANGER confronting them. There is sparse time remaining. You must ACT NOW. KILL THE ENEMY OR DIE IN THE GULAG !

The "poster boy" at the top of your rant is not a right-wing extremist. He has railed against "neocons" just as much. The left-wing media in the U.S. just isn't reporting that this guy is an average, everyday, garden-variety nut job.
