@Jens: Agreed, Bavaria has many beer brewers, but no national airlines – therefore “we” are not a proper country? At least we are a Freistaat! God bless Frank Zappa!
I vaguely remember what you posted last year about Oktoberfest but for what I remember, it seems to me that the Oktoberfest you miss has been long gone.
I feel a bit curious about the fest. How would you best describe it? I guess that is much more than simply drinking beer!
