Emotional Intelligence should be as normal as treatment for “bad chemistry”. We do treat depressions much more willing than aggression, because we still consider aggression a “good” character trait in boys and good canon fodder for the military.
We humans are so often amazed by natures inventions – but we often fail to see that many creatures and plants are just transitions from one “model” to the next.
Only a few of natures experiments have been around for a long time and proven themselves worthy to continuing: the shark is one of the oldest “models”, so are the bees and crocodiles.

We have just learned in recent years that bacteria can survive in outer space and travel in meteors and asteroids from planet to planet – even solar systems. So the chance of these messengers of life traveling and fertilizing other planets is rather the norm instead of a rarity.

Is there such a thing as a gender gap in humor?! When I look at my personal experience as well as pop culture there are hardly any funny women around. When you look at the list of great and funny entertainers of the last twenty years – you hardly find any females in the business. Why?!
Some people attribute guys humor as a last resort to get himself a woman anyway. Even if you are ugly as hell you can’t impress the chicks if you are funny guy. Woman love funny guys.
But does that work for women as well? Does a funny ugly woman get laid, just because she can impress with her humor? I doubt it.

But women don’t fart (loudly) and they don’t make jokes or funny faces either. At least not many. And most women don’t seem to know funny stuff or are willing to perform any practical jokes.
It could be an historical thing: women were not allowed to act in certain cultures. Female roles were playing by guys like in Japan, China and many parts of Europe. Also the Clowns and Jesters were mostly a male affair.
But the woman are slowly catching up in TV, movies and real life. I love Tina Fey’s writing and acting in ‘30 Rock’ … but she is still a minority compared to the Stephen Colberts, John Stewards and Stephen Frys of this planet …
Our minds are pretty pleased when our physical appearance causes a big stir in the other sex. To be desired and to be ‘hot’ seems very much on our ego’s agenda – although procreation is the real story behind all this parading and showing off. Your DNA wants to spread and clone itself. The big fear and real possibility is that one of these days one of them leaves the ‘lab’ and visits us all. If it’s just an influenza virus that would be bad enough – but it could also be something more lethal.
Overall reproduction and the spreading of our genes dictates how we select partners. Most people think we are mostly turned on by money, full lips, big tits and fat wallets. But our quest for good partner goes much deeper.
But we also sniff out compatible partners: we can judge by the smell of a person if their genetic code gives our offspring’s a greater variety and therefore a better chance for survival. The greater the variety the sexier the smell.
So perfume may help a bit to enhance your chances, but overall you can’t hide your genetic code/small forever.

Although we seem to find the motive or promise of love or eternal bliss in so many religions – we also find the element of fear and some form of damnation in them as well. There always seems a special place for the faithful: like Heaven or Valhalla.
