The amazing Art of Julian Opie

Thanks for that tip Stephen.

I love Julian Opie’s style. It’s kind of computer retro and still very modern. He uses classic poses with a comic styling. Very charming Feels like 1991 to me. Enjoy!

Wassily Kandinsky - Cemetery and Vicarage

With Maestro Kandinsky’s touch of colours I almost like winter.

Still the best modern visual poetry around from Ernest Cline.

Dali & Disney - Destino

One of the oddest crossover art collaborations ever.

Disney did a lot of experimental work and many educational short movies after the war. Destino was in it’s early stages when it was cancelled - but Disney’s nephew resurected the project 1999. It seems like that a DVD is coming soon?

I hope we’ll get more of this stuff and Disney is brave enough to create some more arty and ‘deeper’ stuff.

Odilon Renon - Bouddha

Love the colours. Although I wouldn’t say it’s a great painting it is incredible charming in some way.
